My Star Trek: The Next Generation spec scripts!

I just got my “WordStar to text” converter program working (which I’ll post here when complete) and the first thing I converted — the spec script I wrote for ST:TNG nearly 20 years ago! I actually submitted this story for consideration. The original has a nice “REJECTED” stamp on it.  It’s awesome!

I’ve posted two version of my story, “Life In Common” — one that’s raw text, and one compatible with Word 2003 or later. (The Word doc is easier to read and print. I recommend using that version unless you have no other choice.)

Click here to download the raw text file.

Let me know what you think!

And look for another story coming very soon! I think the second story (working title: “Guardian of Tomorrow”) is better than this one, but its unfinished.

Welcome!

Thanks for visiting! As a developer in my off-hours, I have a number of programs to post here, and I will be putting them up from time to time, so I invite you to swing by every so often to see what I’ve been up to.

The first couple of offerings are for my daughter’s school. A little program that simulates multiplication flash cards, and and Excel spreadsheet that creates multiplication drill sheets complete with answer keys.

PLEASE feel free to leave comments. Even if you have some constructive suggestions, let me know.  How else can I improve my skills?

Also, don’t be surprised if you also see an occasional fictional story, political opinion or random thought.
