Multiplication drill sheet in Excel, plus an update to FlashCards

I have created an Excel 2003 file that will automatically create multiplication drill sheets for your class, or for your child to practice. The file is very easy to use and includes an answer key with each drill sheet created. Each drill sheet/answer key pair has a serial number so you can create multiple sheet sets. I hope you find it useful.

I’ve also updated the FlashCards program to version 1.1.  My oldest daughter was being challenged remembering the 6-9 range of her multiplication problems, so (on her request) I added that range of multipliers. So now, when you’re practicing your 4’s, you can just have the problems 6×4, 7×4, 8×4 and 9×4 presented. The installer program will automatically overwrite any existing version you may have installed previously.

FlashCards

Here’s a tiny little program that simulates multiplication flash cards.  You pick which part of the multiplication table to study, and the program gives random problems,  followed by the answer.

There are built-in instructions and contact information.  Download the installer by clicking here. Save the .exe file, then run it.  It will install the program and give you the option to include desktop and start menu icons.

I pride myself on clean and well-tested installs.  This program will NOT touch your registry, and it comes with an uninstaller which cleanly removes all traces of itself.  I have not, however, tested it in Vista, it has been tested only on XP.  I will post an update if I can find a test machine.

UPDATE: I did, in fact find a machine with Windows 7 on it.  It tested beautifully, both on the install and uninstall.  I will make the leap of faith and say you should be good on Windows Vista as well.  Let me know if you have trouble.
